About the role
We are seeking an experienced Data Engineer to join our growing Data, AI, and Cloud delivery team in Kathmandu. The role focuses on building and optimizing data pipelines using Databricks and related technologies for enterprise projects across multiple regions.
Key responsibilities
- Build and maintain scalable data pipelines.
- Develop batch and streaming data solutions.
- Work with Delta Lake and Unity Catalog.
- Optimize Databricks and Spark workloads.
- Manage workflow orchestration using Airflow.
- Support data quality, governance, and deployment processes.
- Collaborate with Data, AI, Cloud, and enterprise delivery teams.
Required profile
- Proven experience as a Data Engineer.
- Strong hands‑on experience with Databricks, PySpark, Spark SQL, Python, Delta Lake, Unity Catalog, ETL/ELT pipelines, Airflow, cloud platforms, Git, and CI/CD.
