Finance and Operations Manager

About the role

We are looking for a Finance & Operations Manager to lead accounting, compliance, budgeting, payroll and operational processes, working closely with senior management to support business planning and improve financial efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain complete books of accounts, including voucher entries, bank reconciliations, accounts receivable and payable.
• Prepare monthly financial statements and management reports (MIS) and track revenue, receipts and settlements from domestic and international operations.
• Analyze financial performance and provide actionable business insights.
• Prepare and file VAT, TDS and income tax returns through the IRD portal and ensure statutory compliance.
• Manage filings with the Office of Company Registrar, CIT and other regulatory authorities, coordinating with auditors and tax consultants.
• Prepare annual budgets, rolling cash‑flow forecasts, monitor variances and recommend corrective actions.
• Support business planning, investment analysis and financial decision‑making, tracking key financial and operational KPIs.
• Oversee payroll processing, vendor payments, expense reimbursements, procurement, vendor contracts and day‑to‑day office administration.
• Develop and improve financial and operational processes for greater efficiency.

Required profile

• Semi‑qualified CA with at least 2 years experience, or MBA/Master’s in Finance with 3 years experience, or Bachelor’s in Finance/Accounting with 5 years experience.
• Strong knowledge of VAT, TDS, income tax and IRD compliance.
• Valid driving licence and two‑wheeler.
• Experience in SaaS or subscription businesses is a plus.
