Functional Consultant

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Functional Consultant to support the implementation and delivery of ERP and business software solutions. The role involves translating client requirements into functional specifications, configuring and testing the system, and ensuring successful adoption.

Key responsibilities

• Gather and analyse client business processes across accounting, finance, payroll, taxation, loan management and HRMS, and convert them into functional software requirements.
• Support ERP implementation through configuration, testing (UAT and system testing), deployment and post‑implementation support.
• Conduct client demonstrations, user training sessions and prepare functional documentation such as requirements, process flows, test scenarios and user guides.
• Validate financial and business data, assist with data migration, reconciliation and verify system‑generated reports for accuracy.
• Coordinate with technical teams to resolve issues, manage multiple client requirements and travel to client sites for meetings, implementation and support.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Information Technology or a related field.
• Strong understanding of accounting, finance and general business processes; knowledge of ERP or accounting software is a plus.
• Analytical mindset with problem‑solving abilities and good communication skills in Nepali and English (Hindi advantageous).
• Proficiency in MS Excel and MS Office, ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Willingness to travel to client locations when required.
