General Manager – Resort

About the role

We are looking for an experienced and strategic General Manager to lead all aspects of our resort operations. The successful candidate will drive business growth, ensure exceptional guest experiences, and uphold high standards of efficiency and profitability.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee all resort departments including Front Office, Housekeeping, Food & Beverage, Kitchen, Maintenance, and Administration.
• Develop and implement strategies to increase occupancy, revenue, and guest satisfaction.
• Lead, mentor and manage department heads and staff to achieve operational excellence.
• Ensure prompt resolution of guest concerns and maintain superior service standards.
• Prepare and manage annual budgets, monitor financial performance and control costs.
• Track key performance indicators and produce management reports.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, labor and hospitality regulations.
• Collaborate with Sales & Marketing to promote the resort and boost bookings.
• Maintain relationships with vendors, travel partners, corporate clients and local authorities.
• Foster a positive work culture, drive employee engagement, training and performance management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Hotel Management, Hospitality Management, Business Administration or a related field (Master’s degree is a plus).
• 5–8 years of experience in hotel or resort management, including senior leadership responsibilities.
• Strong leadership, decision‑making and people‑management capabilities.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills.
• Solid understanding of hospitality operations, budgeting and revenue management.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.

Required skills

• Proficiency with hotel management software.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Office.
