Head of Sales – Hospitality

About the role

The Sales Head will lead the hotel’s sales function, driving revenue growth and market positioning through strategic planning, business development, and strong relationship management. Working closely with Revenue, Reservations, Front Office and other departments, the role ensures optimal occupancy and profitability.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement the overall sales strategy, plans and initiatives for the hotel.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities across key market segments.
• Increase room nights, corporate business, group and event revenue streams.
• Set clear sales targets, KPIs and action plans for the sales team.
• Lead, supervise and motivate the sales team to achieve individual and departmental goals.
• Maintain and grow relationships with corporate clients, travel agencies, NGOs, embassies and other key accounts.
• Negotiate corporate rates, contracts and packages within approved guidelines.
• Drive sales for meetings, conferences, weddings and other group events.
• Prepare and negotiate proposals and contracts in coordination with relevant departments.
• Conduct regular market and competitor analysis to identify emerging segments and adjust strategies.
• Coordinate with Banquet, F&B, Front Office, Reservations and other departments to ensure seamless execution of group and event business.
