Restaurant Cashier – Customer‑Focused POS Specialist

About the role

Roadhouse is seeking a responsible, accurate, and customer‑oriented Restaurant Cashier to manage billing, payments and cashiering operations. The role involves maintaining precise transaction records and delivering efficient service to guests.

Key responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers at the cashier counter in a friendly and professional manner.
• Accurately enter food and beverage orders into the POS system.
• Prepare and issue customer bills and receipts.
• Handle cash, card, QR, and other digital payments accurately.
• Manage the cash drawer and ensure sufficient change is available.
• Verify bills, discounts, offers, and promotional adjustments before processing payments.
• Maintain accurate records of daily sales and transactions.
• Reconcile cash and digital payments at the end of each shift.

Required profile

• Minimum +2 or equivalent education.
• Previous experience as a cashier, preferably in a restaurant or hospitality environment.
• Good communication skills in Nepali and English.
• Friendly and customer‑focused personality.

Required skills

• Knowledge of POS systems.
• Familiarity with digital payment methods.
