IT Officer – IT Operations & Support

About the role

The IT Officer will ensure the smooth operation, maintenance, security and availability of all IT infrastructure, network services and end‑user devices at Kalash Services. This position requires a proactive professional who can take full ownership of IT operations while communicating clearly with internal staff and external clients.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and troubleshoot desktops, laptops, printers, biometric devices, IP phones and other floor equipment.
• Assist with software installations, environment setups, updates, patches and application deployments.
• Configure and maintain LAN, WAN, Wi‑Fi, routers, switches and firewalls to guarantee optimal uptime.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for internal users and external clients, ensuring clear and professional communication.
• Track IT inventory, update asset tags and provide guidance to junior staff and interns.

Required profile

• 1‑2 years of hands‑on experience in IT support, administration or a related role.
• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science or an equivalent field.
• Positive, proactive attitude with a strong sense of accountability.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including emergencies outside regular office time.
