Java Software Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Java Software Engineer to join our development team and take part in the full software lifecycle, from analysing requirements to delivering reliable web applications. The role involves both new feature development and maintenance of existing codebases.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in requirement analysis, design, and development of Java‑based applications.
• Translate user stories into functional, clean, and efficient code.
• Develop, test, and document RESTful APIs using Spring, Spring Boot and related technologies.
• Maintain and enhance legacy applications while implementing new requirements.
• Create and execute test cases, and ensure quality through code reviews and unit testing.
• Collaborate in project meetings, SCRUM ceremonies, and provide regular status updates.
• Prepare use‑case diagrams and flowcharts when needed.
• Support continuous integration pipelines and version control processes.

Required profile

• Minimum 1 year of professional software development experience.
• Ability to work independently or within an Agile team.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Analytical mindset with attention to detail.
• Experience in the US healthcare domain is a plus.
