Jr. Account Executive

About the role

We are looking for a Junior Account Executive to join our finance team in Jatibuti, Bhaktapur. The role involves maintaining accurate financial records, processing invoices, managing cash and bank reconciliations, and supporting overall financial compliance. Candidates should have at least 1.5 years of relevant accounting experience.

Key responsibilities

• Record daily financial transactions, prepare vouchers, and ensure accurate entries in Tally.
• Organize and share daily accounting sheets, maintaining systematic documentation.
• Receive and process import documents, calculate associated costs, and safeguard all financial records.
• Prepare and issue invoices, verify proper accounting treatment, and file them according to company policy.
• Verify and update cash balances, petty cash, and Fonepay transactions in Tally.
• Supervise invoice issuance, dispatch, and verification of purchase invoices and credit notes.
• Manage cash and cheque receipts, ensure proper documentation, and coordinate cheque deposit procedures.
• Perform daily cheque and cash reconciliation with bank statements, addressing any discrepancies promptly.
• Prepare cost sheets, monthly stock reconciliation, and track TDS deductions.
• Compile monthly financial statements and reports for management review.
