Head of Finance and Accounting

About the role

Kafal Care™ is seeking a senior finance leader to direct all core financial and accounting functions for its AI‑powered preventive care business in Nepal. The part‑time, on‑site position in Lalitpur will be responsible for financial reporting, compliance, budgeting and strategic financial analysis to support sustainable growth.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee financial reporting, preparation and review of financial statements, ensuring compliance with applicable standards and regulations.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting and cash‑flow monitoring, providing actionable financial analysis for senior leadership.
• Develop and enhance internal controls, coordinate with external auditors, and manage risk‑related financial planning.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to align financial strategy with organizational objectives.

Required profile

• Proven experience in finance with strong background in financial reporting and statement preparation.
• Demonstrated expertise in budgeting, financial planning and analytical interpretation of financial data.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or related field; professional certifications such as CA, CPA or ACCA are a plus.
• Experience in healthcare, technology or service‑oriented organisations is beneficial.
• Ability to work on‑site in Lalitpur and communicate complex financial information clearly.
