Senior Mortgage Broker – Loan Processing Specialist

About the role

Avaya Machine is seeking an experienced Senior Mortgage Broker to lead back‑office and loan processing activities for its Australian mortgage broking operations. The role is hybrid, based in Lalitpur, and requires end‑to‑end management of mortgage files with minimal supervision.

Key responsibilities

• Manage mortgage files from Fact Find through to settlement, including purchases, refinances, discharges and construction loans.
• Prepare loan applications using ApplyOnline and lender portals, and review credit reports, income, liabilities and expenses.
• Coordinate with lenders, assessors, business development managers, conveyancers and clients to secure conditional and formal approvals.
• Track the loan pipeline, handle progress payments, and manage PEXA settlements.
• Maintain accurate, compliant and audit‑ready files while proactively identifying and resolving issues.

Required profile

• 3+ years of recent Australian mortgage broking or loan processing experience.
• Hands‑on experience with ApplyOnline and lender servicing calculators.
• Strong understanding of PAYG and self‑employed income, LVR, LMI and lender documentation requirements.
• Excellent written and spoken English and strong Microsoft Office skills.
• Ability to independently manage multiple loan files.
