Junior Cashier

About the role

The Junior Cashier supports the finance team by processing billing transactions, handling cash collections, and delivering professional customer service. This entry‑level position requires strong numerical accuracy and attention to detail while ensuring cash operations run smoothly.

Key responsibilities

• Process billing and payment transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Receive, count, verify, and reconcile cash collections.
• Maintain daily cash records and prepare cash reports.
• Follow company procedures for cash handling and security.
• Assist in balancing cash drawers and maintaining transaction logs.
• Provide prompt, courteous assistance to customers and route inquiries as needed.
• Document financial transactions in accordance with internal policies.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree completed or in progress in Management, Business Administration, Finance, Accounting or a related field.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in customer support, cashier duties, or a related role; fresh graduates with internship experience are welcome.
• Basic understanding of cash handling, billing processes, and banking procedures.
• Strong numerical aptitude and meticulous attention to detail.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Word.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
