Lead Quality Assurance Engineer

About the role

IQVIA is seeking a Lead Quality Assurance Engineer to own the testing strategy for mobile and web applications. The role combines hands‑on testing, automation, and AI‑driven techniques to ensure high‑quality releases in an Agile environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and execute test plans, cases and scripts for Android, iOS and web applications.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, system and end‑to‑end testing across multiple devices, browsers, OS versions and network conditions.
• Validate APIs and verify backend data using SQL and database tools.
• Identify, document, prioritize and track defects through resolution.
• Support test‑automation and AI‑driven testing initiatives to increase coverage and efficiency.
• Collaborate closely with Engineering, Product and Business teams to deliver high‑quality releases.
• Mentor junior QA engineers and promote a quality‑first mindset.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering or related field.
• 5–8 years of Software QA experience, with at least 3 years focused on mobile application testing.
• Strong hands‑on experience testing Android and iOS applications.
• Proven ability to work in Agile development environments.
• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting and communication skills.
