Marketing Manager – Cement Division

About the role

The Cement Division of Shanker Group is seeking an experienced Marketing Manager to lead the marketing strategy for its two cement brands, Shaurya Cements and Riddhi Siddhi Cements. The role will be responsible for brand building, market positioning and promotional activities while working closely with sales and other business functions.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute marketing strategies for both cement brands aligned with business objectives.
• Lead brand building, market positioning, promotional campaigns, activations and market development initiatives.
• Manage relationships with national news media, journalists, editors and media houses to enhance brand and corporate visibility.
• Coordinate press releases, media briefings, interviews, news coverage and other media engagements.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities, customer insights and industry developments.
• Collaborate with Sales and other functions to drive market growth and customer engagement.
• Oversee marketing campaigns, budgets, agencies and external partners.
• Strengthen brand identity and ensure consistent communication across relevant channels.
• Lead, mentor and develop the marketing team while monitoring performance and ROI.
• Represent the Cement Division in external and media engagements.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Marketing, Business Administration or a related field.
• 8+ years of relevant marketing experience, preferably in cement, construction, FMCG or a related industry.
• Proven experience in brand management, market development, media relations and marketing communications.
• Demonstrated ability to lead marketing teams and manage strategic campaigns.
• Strong communication, negotiation, analytical and leadership skills.
• Strategic thinker with a strong commercial and business orientation.
