Odoo ERP Specialist

About the role

The Odoo ERP Specialist will own the functional side of our Odoo customisation and implementation projects. Acting as the bridge between finance, operations, management and the development team, you will ensure business requirements are accurately translated into functional specifications, tested and deployed.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate Odoo customisation projects with developers and relevant departments.
• Gather business requirements and convert them into functional specifications, workflows and SOPs.
• Work with the Accounts team to ensure proper integration of sales, purchases, POS, inventory, payments and returns.
• Manage and support Odoo modules such as POS, Accounting, Inventory, Sales, CRM and E‑Commerce.
• Analyse and standardise business processes across stores and departments, identifying automation opportunities.
• Review customisations, conduct functional testing and user acceptance testing, and coordinate fixes with developers.
• Ensure seamless data flow between POS, Sales, Inventory, Purchase, Accounting, CRM and E‑Commerce.
• Support data migration, master‑data management, reporting, dashboards and MIS requirements.
• Train users, provide functional support and promote ERP adoption and process compliance.
• Maintain functional documentation, change records and system improvement plans.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, MIS or a related field.
• 2–4 years of hands‑on experience with Odoo implementation, administration or functional consulting.
• Strong understanding of accounting processes, retail operations and ERP workflows.
• Experience coordinating with software developers on ERP customisations.
• Background in retail, automobile, hospitality, trading/distribution or IT is a plus.
