About the role

We are seeking a passionate, knowledgeable, and engaging Part‑Time Cyber Security & Ethical Hacking Tutor to deliver focused 2‑hour evening classes, mentor students, and provide hands‑on practical training in core cybersecurity methodologies.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive, engaging lectures on cybersecurity fundamentals, network security, and ethical hacking techniques during the designated 2‑hour shift.
• Guide students through practical lab sessions using industry tools such as Nmap, Wireshark, Burp Suite, and Metasploit.
• Explain core concepts of vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and compliance frameworks (ISO 27001, NIST) in an easy‑to‑understand manner.
• Assess student progress through assignments, case‑study discussions, and mock security incident response scenarios.
• Provide mentorship on career pathways, industry certifications, and best practices within the evolving cyber threat landscape.

Required profile

• Academic background in Cyber Security, Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field.
• Prior teaching, tutoring, or professional training experience in cybersecurity (highly preferred).
• Strong industry exposure with hands‑on penetration testing and risk‑assessment experience.

Required skills

• Proficiency with security tools: Nmap, Wireshark, Burp Suite, Metasploit.
• Deep understanding of penetration testing, network protocols (TCP/IP), and secure operating systems (Linux, Windows).
• Scripting abilities in Python, Bash or PowerShell for automated security tasks.
