Product Engineering Lead

About the role

We are seeking a Product Engineering Lead to own the day‑to‑day execution of how our products are built and operated across all projects. You will be the go‑to person for developers, QA, and DevOps when critical decisions are needed, ensuring that shipped features are technically sound, solve real user problems, and scale effectively.

Key responsibilities

• Make day‑to‑day technical and product decisions without waiting for senior leadership.
• Own outcomes: ensure features are functionally correct, valuable to users, high quality, and built to scale.
• Provide cross‑team guidance, unblock developers, QA, and DevOps, and resolve technical disagreements.
• Apply product judgment by deeply understanding user needs and prioritizing work accordingly.
• Lead issue response when unexpected problems arise, coordinating resolution.
• Set and enforce quality and scalability standards across all projects.

Required profile

• 6+ years of overall experience, including at least 4 years as a software engineer.
• Minimum 2 years in a team‑lead or leadership capacity.
• Demonstrated ownership mindset, accountable for outcomes rather than just tasks.
• Strong technical judgment across the stack (web, mobile, or infrastructure).
• Product sense: ability to reason about real user needs beyond feature requests.
• Comfortable making independent decisions and owning the results.
• Open‑minded, humble, and able to create space for team members to voice opinions.
• Experience with products that have real operational stakes (e.g., marketplace, logistics, fintech) is a strong plus.
