Product Manager

About the role

TaxMD™ is seeking a hands‑on Product Manager to own a core area of its AI‑powered tax‑planning platform. You will drive the product from problem definition through validation, specification, and delivery, ensuring that shipped features move the key metrics you set.

Key responsibilities

• Define and defend the product strategy and roadmap for your domain.
• Conduct user discovery with individuals, investors, business owners, and CPAs to translate insights into prioritized problems.
• Analyze usage, funnel, drop‑off, and support data to identify friction points.
• Track competitive and regulatory changes and turn them into concrete product implications.
• Write clear PRDs, user stories, and acceptance criteria, breaking large initiatives into shippable increments.
• Partner with design for flows and prototypes, and with engineering to assess feasibility and technical trade‑offs.
• Collaborate with the Engineering Manager on backlog refinement, sprint scope, and release readiness.

Required profile

• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to turn messy inputs into a defensible roadmap.
• Experience working closely with domain experts (e.g., CPAs) and translating complex regulations into product features.
• Ability to make prioritization decisions and communicate rationale clearly.

Required skills
