Remote Telecommunications Specialist – Contract

About the role

We are seeking a Telecommunications Specialist to join a global leader on a contract basis. The role is fully remote and focuses on designing, implementing and maintaining VoIP, SIP and PSTN networks for enterprise clients.

Key responsibilities

• Design, deploy and optimise telecommunications networks, including VoIP, SIP and PSTN systems.
• Integrate telecom solutions with existing IT infrastructure in collaboration with cross‑functional teams.
• Monitor network performance, diagnose issues and resolve incidents to ensure high availability.
• Configure and manage telecom hardware such as routers, switches and gateways.
• Document network configurations, policies and procedures for internal and external stakeholders.

Required profile

• Minimum three years of experience in telecommunications engineering or a related field.
• Strong understanding of network architecture, routing and switching.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot complex network problems.
• Excellent communication skills for working with technical and non‑technical teams.
