Research and Writing Executive

About the role

We are looking for a Research and Writing Executive to create high‑quality technical content on UK and US property taxation. The role blends tax expertise with strong writing and SEO skills to produce blogs, guides, eBooks, video scripts and other marketing material.

Key responsibilities

• Research UK & US tax and accounting topics using primary sources such as GOV.UK, HMRC manuals, IRS manuals and legislation.
• Write and format content for blogs, long‑form guides, eBooks, landing pages, newsletters and other marketing assets.
• Apply on‑page SEO techniques (keyword targeting, internal linking, metadata) and ensure content is AI‑answer‑engine friendly.
• Collaborate with the SEO team on monthly content plans, keyword research and topic prioritisation.
• Track performance with Ahrefs, Google Search Console and Google Analytics and feed insights back into planning.
• Review and edit junior colleagues’ drafts for technical accuracy, clarity and brand voice.
• Coach junior writers on tax research methods and use of AI drafting tools.
• Maintain accurate status and version tracking in the CMS and task‑management system.

Required profile

• Minimum two years’ experience in technical writing, tax, accountancy, financial research or professional publishing.
• Excellent written English with the ability to explain complex tax matters to a non‑specialist audience.
• Demonstrated ability to research from primary sources and cite them correctly.
• Familiarity with a CMS (e.g., WordPress), HubSpot, Ahrefs and Google Search Console.
• Tax or accountancy qualification is preferred; prior SEO knowledge is a plus.
