Sales Officer – Automotive

About the role

The Sales Officer will join IME Automobile Division’s growing team in Kathmandu, focusing on expanding vehicle sales through strong dealer relationships and effective pipeline management. This full‑time, on‑site position requires proactive customer engagement and coordination of marketing and claim activities to meet business targets.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare monthly visit plans, conduct dealer and customer visits, and generate follow‑up reports.
• Maintain daily dealer visit reports (DVR) and sales pipeline updates.
• Monitor dealer sales performance, stock levels, and achievement against targets.
• Plan and execute dealer development, motivation, marketing campaigns, and promotional activities.
• Perform competitor analysis and identify marketing needs.
• Communicate targets to dealers and drive motivation for goal attainment.
• Follow up on dealer outstanding collections to keep recovery ageing low.
• Coordinate claim settlements for dealers, retailers, and mechanics according to policy.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or currently pursuing one.
• 1–2 years of sales experience, preferably in the automobile (lube) sector.
• Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal abilities.
