Security Operations Center Analyst

About the role

We are seeking a proactive Security Operations Center (SOC) Analyst to join our cybersecurity team. The analyst will monitor our IT environment, detect threats, investigate incidents and coordinate response actions to protect the organization’s assets.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor security alerts, events and activities across the entire IT landscape.
• Identify, investigate and respond to potential security incidents and threats.
• Analyze security logs and alerts using SIEM and other monitoring tools.
• Perform threat analysis, assess severity and potential impact.
• Conduct initial triage, containment, escalation and follow‑up of incidents.
• Utilize SOAR platforms to automate response workflows and repetitive tasks.
• Develop and maintain security monitoring and incident response procedures.
• Correlate events from multiple sources to uncover hidden threats.
• Document investigations, findings and remediation actions.
• Collaborate with IT, infrastructure and other security teams during incidents.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, IT, Computer Science or a related field (preferred).
• Relevant certifications such as Security+, CEH, CySA+, SOC Analyst (advantage).
• Experience working in a SOC, security operations or incident response environment (preferred).
• Familiarity with security frameworks, threat intelligence and incident response methodologies.
