About the role

This full-time, on-site position in Kathmandu supports the finance team by maintaining accounting records, preparing financial statements, and assisting with budgeting and forecasting. The role also involves tax support, compliance, and audit assistance.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain ledgers and accounting records, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Prepare financial statements and management reports for internal and external stakeholders.
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis activities.
• Support tax computations, filings, and ensure compliance with local regulations.
• Participate in internal and external audit processes.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to improve financial processes and controls.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and basic tax regulations.
• Relevant semi‑qualified Chartered Accountant status (intermediate/professional exams completed) and ongoing pursuit of full qualification.
• Previous experience in accounting, audit, or finance roles, preferably in corporate or consulting environments.

Required skills

• Proficiency with accounting software.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including formulas and financial analysis tools.
