Senior Credit Analyst

About the role

PeopleSync is seeking an experienced Senior Credit Analyst to join its Kathmandu team and support Australian mortgage brokers and lenders. You will evaluate residential loan applications, analyse borrowers' financial positions, and determine credit risk and serviceability.

Key responsibilities

• Assess and analyse residential mortgage loan applications.
• Conduct detailed credit and risk assessments.
• Review borrowers' income, expenses, liabilities, assets and supporting documents such as payslips, bank statements, tax returns and financial statements.
• Perform serviceability calculations and identify potential lending risks.
• Verify applicant information and ensure compliance with lender credit policies and guidelines.
• Prepare clear credit assessment recommendations and liaise with Australian mortgage brokers and other stakeholders.
• Manage multiple applications while maintaining accuracy and turnaround times.
• Support loan processors and junior credit analysts as needed.
• Stay up‑to‑date with Australian lending policies, credit requirements and industry practices.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of professional experience as a Credit Analyst.
• Strong experience in credit assessment and financial analysis.
• Excellent attention to detail and document‑review skills.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple applications.

Required skills

• Experience with Australian mortgage/CRM platforms such as MyCRM, ApplyOnline, Mercury.
