Senior Frontend Developer (WordPress)

About the role

We create custom WordPress sites for businesses across the United States, focusing on speed, design quality, and long‑term stability. As a senior frontend developer you will own the full lifecycle of these sites, ensuring they meet high standards for performance, SEO, and user experience.

Key responsibilities

• Transform Figma and mockup designs into custom WordPress builds.
• Develop custom themes and reusable, well‑structured components.
• Extend and customize existing themes while preserving performance and scalability.
• Collaborate closely with designers, project managers, and U.S.‑based clients.
• Ensure responsive, cross‑device compatibility and optimize for Core Web Vitals, SEO, accessibility, and page speed.
• Integrate APIs, forms, CRMs, marketing tools, and other third‑party services.
• Diagnose and improve existing sites, including migrations and performance tuning.
• Mentor junior developers and help define frontend standards.
• Drive continuous improvement of WordPress practices and processes.

Required profile

• 6+ years of hands‑on WordPress development experience.
• Proven ability to build custom themes from scratch and manage projects end‑to‑end with minimal guidance.
• Strong attention to detail, pride in clean code, fast load times, and maintainable architecture.
• Excellent communication skills and a proactive, problem‑solving mindset.
