Site Civil Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Site Civil Engineer to lead day‑to‑day construction activities on our projects. The role combines hands‑on site supervision with technical coordination, ensuring that works are delivered safely, on schedule and to the highest quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise daily construction activities, ensuring compliance with approved drawings, specifications and engineering standards.
• Monitor project progress against schedules, allocate manpower, equipment and resources, and coordinate sequencing to minimise delays.
• Conduct regular site inspections, resolve technical and operational issues, and maintain quality control records.
• Prepare and verify documentation such as Bar Bending Schedules, Interim Payment Certificates, material schedules and progress reports.
• Lead coordination meetings with subcontractors, consultants, suppliers and internal teams, acting as the primary communication bridge.
• Review structural drawings, identify discrepancies and verify reinforcement work before execution.

Required profile

• Proven experience in site civil engineering and construction management.
• Strong problem‑solving abilities and leadership skills.
• Thorough understanding of construction methodologies, structural drawings and material management.
• Excellent communication skills to liaise with clients, consultants and suppliers.

Required skills

• Preparation of Bar Bending Schedules (BBS).
• Verification of Interim Payment Certificates (IPC).
• Material testing and quality inspection procedures.
• Construction scheduling and resource allocation.
• Structural drawing review and reinforcement verification.
