SQL Developer – Data Validation & Query Optimization

About the role

The company is seeking an experienced SQL Developer to design, optimize, and maintain SQL queries that support client‑specific claim processing. The role involves ensuring data accuracy, validating business logic, and collaborating directly with clients to translate requirements into robust database solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, optimize, and maintain SQL queries based on client customizations and business rules for processed claim data.
• Perform data validation, testing, and reconciliation to guarantee accuracy and integrity of query results.
• Validate customized logic against business requirements and expected outcomes before deployment.
• Gather requirements from clients, clarify business needs, and provide regular status updates.
• Document requirements, query logic, and customization specifications as needed.
• Monitor production environments, identify and resolve real‑time issues.
• Maintain and upgrade in‑house tools when required.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of experience in SQL development, data analysis, data validation, or related data operations.
• Strong proficiency in SQL, including complex joins, aggregations, subqueries, and query optimization.
• Experience with data testing, validation, and quality‑assurance processes.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently.
• Experience in healthcare claims, payer, or revenue cycle management is a plus.
