Store Officer

About the role

The Store Officer will oversee daily store and warehouse activities for a leading tiles manufacturer. This position ensures accurate inventory records, smooth material flow, and compliance with safety and 5S standards.

Key responsibilities

• Manage receiving, storing, issuing, and dispatching of raw materials, packaging, spare parts, and finished goods.
• Verify incoming shipments against purchase orders, invoices and delivery documents.
• Conduct regular physical stock counts and reconcile with system records.
• Maintain proper material identification, stacking, and FIFO/FEFO practices.
• Prepare GRN, stock transfer, issue/receipt notes and other store documentation.
• Coordinate with Purchase, Production, Sales, Finance and Logistics teams for seamless material flow.
• Monitor stock levels, report shortages, excess, damages and discrepancies.
• Uphold warehouse safety, cleanliness and 5S standards.
• Generate daily, weekly and monthly inventory and store reports.
• Support internal and external stock audits.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Management, Logistics, Supply Chain or a related field.
• At least 2 years of experience in store, warehouse, inventory or supply‑chain operations.
• Experience in tiles, manufacturing, construction materials or FMCG is highly preferred.
• Strong numerical, documentation and coordination abilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Excel.
• Experience with inventory or ERP software.
