Logistics Officer – Coordination & Documentation

About the role

The Logistics Officer will ensure smooth movement of goods by coordinating with internal teams, external partners and regulatory bodies. This role requires strong organizational abilities and a solid grasp of international shipping terms to support timely deliveries.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate with customs clearing agents to achieve timely clearance of shipments.
• Liaise with banks regarding letters of credit, shipping documents and payment requirements.
• Manage communication and negotiation with suppliers, transporters, freight forwarders, and internal departments.
• Oversee multiple shipments simultaneously, handling urgent requests efficiently.
• Maintain accurate documentation and records for all logistics activities.

Required profile

• Good understanding of Incoterms, LC, BL, AWB, FOB, CIF, DAP and freight processes.
• Strong follow‑up, coordination and negotiation skills.
• Ability to handle multiple priorities and urgent requirements.
• Excellent documentation and record‑keeping capabilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Excel.
• Proficiency in MS Word.
• Experience with ERP or accounting systems.
