Supply Chain Officer – Procurement & Logistics

About the role

We are looking for a Supply Chain Officer to manage procurement, inventory and logistics activities for our manufacturing operations in Kathmandu. The role ensures timely purchase, efficient stock handling and smooth coordination between vendors, warehouse and sales teams.

Key responsibilities

• Track Purchase Indents (PI), Purchase Orders (PO) and monitor procurement status.
• Coordinate with vendors, negotiate prices and oversee purchase rates.
• Work with warehouse and transporters to ensure timely dispatch and delivery.
• Maintain VCTS documentation and submit freight bills promptly.
• Monitor raw material and packaging material stock levels, shelf life, shortages and near‑expiry items.
• Ensure finished‑goods dispatch follows FIFO and manage slow‑moving or low‑shelf‑life products.
• Collaborate with sales and factory teams for stock liquidation and scrap management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree (minimum completed).
• At least 2 years of procurement experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Good knowledge of procurement, supply planning, inventory management, logistics and distribution.
• Strong communication, negotiation, networking and vendor‑management abilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Word.
• Proficiency in MS Excel.
