Video Content Creator Trainee (Full‑time, Kathmandu)

About the role

Vrit Technologies is looking for a Video Content Creator Trainee to transform ideas, products, and stories into short‑form video content that supports its marketing objectives. You will collaborate with the founder, marketing, sales, design, and technical teams to plan, script, shoot, and publish videos across TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, and LinkedIn.

Key responsibilities

• Write engaging short‑form video scripts, hooks, and content ideas.
• Research trends, virality factors, audience psychology, and game‑theory insights.
• Plan and shoot various formats such as talking‑head pieces, tutorials, product demos, testimonials, interviews, and team‑focused content.
• Identify internal talent for on‑camera roles and guide them on messaging.
• Understand Vrit’s products and the problems they solve to craft compelling marketing narratives.
• Capture customer testimonials, founder messages, employee stories, tutorials, and branding videos.
• Collaborate with marketing and design teams to turn raw footage into cohesive campaigns.
• Organise raw media assets and coordinate with editors when needed.
• Publish and optimise videos for each social platform.
• Track performance metrics and analyse what drives views, engagement, leads, and conversions.
• Contribute ideas to the overall content and social‑media strategy.

• Strong communication skills and confident on‑camera presence.
• Good script‑writing and storytelling ability.
• Curiosity about technology, products, customers, and business challenges.
• Proactive, creative mindset and comfort working with cross‑functional teams.
• Receptive to feedback and committed to continuous improvement.

Required skills

• Basic camera handling.
• Fundamental lighting techniques.
• Understanding of framing and video shooting basics.
