Video Editor – On‑site (Kathmandu)

About the role

Ecstatic Minds is seeking a full‑time, on‑site Video Editor to join its creative team in Kathmandu. The role focuses on turning raw footage into engaging video narratives that meet client objectives and brand standards.

Key responsibilities

• Assemble and edit raw footage, selecting the best takes to craft compelling stories.
• Trim video clips, add transitions, effects, and synchronize audio tracks.
• Perform color correction and grading to ensure a consistent visual style.
• Collaborate with producers, designers, and other creatives to integrate motion graphics and visual elements.
• Manage project files, maintain organized workflows, and meet delivery deadlines.
• Incorporate client and internal feedback to refine final deliverables across digital platforms.

Required profile

• Strong video production background, including planning and oversight of shoots.
• Experience working in a creative agency or production house with a portfolio of video and motion work.
• Effective communication skills and ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, on‑site team environment.
• Formal training or a degree in Film, Media, Communications, Design, or related field is preferred but not mandatory.

Required skills

• Proficiency with industry‑standard editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, and After Effects.
• Expertise in video color grading and motion graphics design.
• Ability to integrate basic graphics to enhance storytelling and maintain brand consistency.
