Videographer & Video Editor

About the role

The Videographer & Video Editor will join Samman Creative and Consulting’s on‑site team in Kathmandu to create high‑quality video content for client and internal projects. This full‑time role blends technical production expertise with creative storytelling in a video‑first, AI‑first agency environment.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and execute video shoots, setting up cameras, lighting, and audio equipment.
• Capture high‑quality footage on location or in studio according to creative briefs.
• Collaborate with creative and strategy teams to develop visual narratives.
• Edit video assets, incorporate motion graphics and sound design, and deliver final files optimized for multiple digital platforms.
• Maintain and organize media assets and production equipment.
• Stay updated on industry trends, tools, and best practices.

Required profile

• Strong visual storytelling ability with meticulous attention to detail.
• Ability to work under deadlines in a collaborative, on‑site team setting.
• Portfolio demonstrating videography and editing work.
• Formal education or training in film, media, or a related field is an asset.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve.
• Experience using motion graphics tools.
• Hands‑on camera operation and handling of various camera systems and lenses.
• Practical lighting setup for diverse environments.
