About the role
Focal Tech Point is looking for a Web Developer to design and develop responsive websites for the company and its clients. You will turn visual mock‑ups into polished, functional sites that perform well on all devices.
Key responsibilities
- Design and build attractive, responsive websites from mockups and concepts.
- Write clean HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to create engaging web pages.
- Ensure sites are mobile‑friendly, fast, and cross‑browser compatible.
- Build and customize websites using CMS platforms such as WordPress.
- Optimize sites for speed, performance, and SEO.
- Maintain and update existing websites, fixing bugs as needed.
- Collaborate with designers and content teams to bring ideas to life.
Required profile
- At least 1 year of experience in website development.
- Strong eye for design, layout, and responsive web development.
- Ability to work on‑site in Kathmandu.
Required skills
- HTML, CSS, JavaScript
- WordPress (or similar CMS)
- Familiarity with a front‑end framework or library (e.g., React, Bootstrap, jQuery)
- Basic SEO knowledge and cross‑browser compatibility
- Version control using Git
