Account Assistant

About the role

We are seeking a detail‑oriented and motivated Account Assistant to support our finance department in maintaining accurate financial records and assisting with day‑to‑day accounting operations.

Key responsibilities

• Record daily financial transactions, including sales, purchases, expenses, and bank entries.
• Prepare and verify invoices, bills, credit notes, and supporting documents.
• Maintain accurate ledgers, account files, and documentation for audit purposes.
• Support PAN/VAT calculation, e‑billing, and tax filing activities.
• Assist in bank reconciliation and follow up on accounts receivable and payable.
• Coordinate with internal departments for data verification and payment processing.
• Update records and reports using accounting software Tally.
• Handle vendor and customer billing queries with professionalism.
• Monitor petty cash disbursement and ensure proper settlement with receipts.
• Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.

Required profile

• Good understanding of accounting principles.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Tally accounting software.
• Experience in bank reconciliation.
