Accountant – Day-to-Day Accounting & Financial Reporting

About the role
We are seeking a responsible and detail‑oriented Accountant to manage day‑to‑day accounting activities, maintain accurate financial records and support timely financial reporting for our organization.
Key responsibilities
- Maintain daily accounting records, vouchers and financial transactions.
- Handle accounts payable and receivable, billing and payments.
- Prepare invoices, receipts, bank reconciliations and expense reports.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly and annual financial reports.
- Monitor cash flow, manage petty cash and ensure proper documentation.
- Support tax, VAT and TDS documentation and compliance.
- Coordinate with auditors, banks, vendors and internal departments.
- Ensure adherence to accounting policies and procedures.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, BBS or a related field.
- 1–3 years of relevant accounting experience.
- Good knowledge of Nepalese tax practices.
- Strong numerical, analytical and organizational abilities.
- Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
Required skills
- Tally / ERP accounting software.
- Microsoft Excel.
