Accountant – Finance & Accounts

About the role

We are seeking a detail‑oriented and responsible Accountant to join our Finance & Accounts team in Kupondol. The role involves managing daily accounting transactions, ensuring VAT compliance and supporting month‑end closing activities.

Key responsibilities

• Record and maintain day‑to‑day accounting transactions accurately.
• Perform daily bank reconciliation and keep precise bank records.
• Conduct VAT reconciliation, audits and ensure compliance with tax regulations.
• Reconcile vendor and customer accounts and resolve discrepancies.
• Maintain ledgers, journals, payment vouchers, invoices and other financial documents.
• Assist in month‑end closing and ensure proper filing of financial records.
• Carry out additional finance and accounting duties as assigned by management.

Required profile

• Hands‑on accounting experience (minimum 12 months).
• Strong attention to detail and responsibility.
• Good knowledge of VAT compliance and tax regulations.
• Proficiency with accounting software; experience with Swastik Software is highly preferred.
