Accountant – Financial Operations

About the role

We are seeking a responsible and detail‑oriented Accountant to manage day‑to‑day accounting and financial activities for Goyal Metal Industries. The role involves maintaining accurate financial records, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with tax and statutory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day accounting and financial transactions.
• Maintain accurate books of accounts and financial records.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Handle accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliation, and ledger maintenance.
• Prepare and review invoices, vouchers, bills, and payment documents.
• Assist in budgeting, cash‑flow management, and financial planning.
• Ensure timely preparation and submission of tax and statutory reports.
• Coordinate with auditors, banks, tax authorities, and other stakeholders.
• Supervise junior accounting staff and review their work.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax laws, and company policies.
• Provide financial information and reports to management for decision‑making.
