Accounts Head – Finance & Accounts Lead

About the role

Bhugarbha Cement Ltd. is looking for an experienced finance professional to lead its Finance & Accounts function. The Accounts Head will ensure accurate financial reporting, statutory compliance, and effective cash management for both the factory and corporate office.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and supervise the overall Finance & Accounts function of the company.
• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Ensure timely VAT, TDS, Excise, Tax, and other statutory filings and compliance.
• Monitor accounts payable, receivable, bank reconciliation, cash flow, and general ledger.
• Review journal vouchers, purchase invoices, sales transactions, and supporting documents.
• Manage budgeting, financial planning, and management reporting.
• Coordinate with auditors, banks, tax authorities, and other regulatory bodies.
• Maintain proper accounting records, internal controls, and documentation.
• Oversee accounting activities at the factory and corporate office.
• Provide accurate financial information and analysis to senior management.
• Supervise, guide, and evaluate the Accounts & Finance team.
• Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, tax laws, and company policies.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in finance and accounting.
• Proven ability to lead a finance & accounts team.
• Strong knowledge of statutory compliance such as VAT, TDS, Excise and Tax.
• Experience coordinating with auditors, banks and tax authorities.
