Accounts Officer

About the role

We are looking for an Accounts Officer to join our Finance & Accounts department at our corporate office in Lalitpur. The role involves handling day‑to‑day accounting, bookkeeping, and financial reporting in line with company policies and local regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Record and post daily financial transactions in the accounting/ERP system, preparing vouchers, journal entries, and other supporting documents.
• Manage cash and banking operations, ensuring accurate reconciliation.
• Oversee accounts payable processes, verifying invoices and authorising payments.
• Handle accounts receivable, preparing receipts and monitoring collections.
• Perform tax and statutory accounting duties in compliance with Nepalese regulations.
• Process import, export, and letter of credit accounting entries.
• Support inventory and manufacturing accounting activities.
• Conduct regular reconciliations and assist with periodic closing procedures.
• Prepare audit documentation and maintain internal control records.
• Generate reports and MIS support for management decision‑making.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulatory requirements.

Required profile

• Minimum of 48 months (4 years) of relevant accounting experience.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and Nepalese tax regulations.
• Attention to detail and ability to meet strict deadlines.

Required skills

• Proficiency with an ERP/accounting system.
