Admissions Officer

About the role

AECC is seeking a detail‑oriented Admissions Officer based in Nepal to assess student applications against eligibility criteria and support the university’s global expansion.

Key responsibilities

• Determine admissibility, transferability of credit, and residency for new and readmitted undergraduate students and place them into appropriate academic units.
• Visit schools and colleges, participate in events, and develop partnerships with institutions throughout the region.
• Advise students, counselors, and families on educational opportunities, admission requirements, credit transfer, and financial assistance.
• Contribute to the institutional database of prospective and current students and update the CRM system.
• Analyze recruitment and retention trends, design targeted recruitment programs, and evaluate their effectiveness.
• Create and distribute promotional materials for recruitment and retention of targeted groups.
• Prepare reports, respond to inquiries from students and external agencies, and maintain accurate records.
• Develop operating goals and procedures to enhance unit operations.

Required profile

• 3–4 years of proven experience as an Admissions Officer in the education consultancy industry or a similar role.
• Minimum Bachelor’s degree.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent attention to detail, strong organizational abilities, and the capacity to meet deadlines.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
