International Student Counsellor

About the role

AECC is seeking an International Student Counsellor for its Kathmandu office. Reporting to the Office Manager, you will provide accurate advice and guidance to prospective overseas students, helping them navigate study options and visa processes.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and follow up with student enquiries via phone, email and in person, maintaining strong relationships.
• Provide accurate information about study programs, visa requirements and AECC services.
• Maintain up‑to‑date records for each student and ensure data accuracy.
• Achieve or exceed targeted numbers of student applications.
• Handle challenging situations calmly and professionally.
• Perform other related tasks as required by the business.

Required profile

• Customer‑centric attitude with ability to work in a cross‑cultural environment.
• Excellent organisational, written and verbal communication skills.
• Team player who can deliver reports and feedback promptly.
• Competent knowledge of relevant computer applications.
