Area Service Engineer

About the role

The Area Service Engineer will oversee and enhance after‑sales service operations across a designated territory in Nepal. The role involves visiting authorized dealerships and workshops, ensuring technical standards are met, and supporting customers with complex vehicle issues.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and improve service performance of authorized dealerships and workshops.
• Conduct regular site visits to verify compliance with service standards.
• Provide technical support for complex vehicle problems and lead troubleshooting efforts.
• Track service KPIs such as customer satisfaction, repeat repairs, productivity, warranty claims, and revenue.
• Deliver technical training to service advisors, technicians, and workshop staff.
• Implement service campaigns, technical bulletins, recalls, and product updates.
• Manage warranty claim documentation and resolve major customer complaints.
• Coordinate with sales and spare‑parts teams to enhance the overall customer experience.
• Support workshops with manpower planning, tools, equipment, and operational improvements.
• Prepare service reports, market feedback, and improvement plans.

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Automobile Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field.
• 3–5 years of experience in automotive after‑sales or service operations.
• Experience in dealerships, authorized workshops, or automotive companies preferred.
• Background in two‑wheelers or motorcycles is an advantage.
