Articled Assistant

About the role

We are looking for an Articled Assistant to join our audit and advisory team in Kathmandu. This full‑time position offers hands‑on experience in statutory and internal audits, financial reporting and tax compliance across diverse industries.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in planning and executing statutory and internal audit engagements.
• Perform control testing, vouching and analytical procedures.
• Prepare working papers, audit documentation and support audit reports.
• Help prepare financial statements and basic tax computations.
• Gather and review client data for regulatory filings and compliance.
• Participate in client meetings and contribute to research on accounting, auditing and tax standards.

Required profile

• Passed CAP‑II examination of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nepal.
• Strong foundation in accounting, auditing and taxation principles.
• Attention to detail, analytical mindset and ability to meet deadlines.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills.
• Professional integrity and willingness to learn.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Familiarity with office productivity tools; knowledge of accounting or audit software is a plus.
