Assistant Account Manager

About the role

We are seeking a detail‑oriented Assistant Account Manager to support our Finance & Accounts function. The role involves month‑end closing, accounting entries, reconciliations and financial reporting within a fast‑moving FMCG or manufacturing environment.

Key responsibilities

• Support month‑end and year‑end closing activities and ensure timely completion of accounting processes.
• Prepare and post accounting entries, journal entries and necessary adjustments.
• Perform regular bank, ledger, accounts receivable/payable and balance‑sheet reconciliations.
• Assist in preparing financial, schedule and management reports.
• Coordinate with departments to collect and verify financial information and support audit requirements.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Management or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant finance and accounting experience, preferably in FMCG, manufacturing or audit firms.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting and reconciliations.
• Excellent analytical, numerical and problem‑solving abilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Excel.
• Experience with accounting/ERP software.
