Assistant Maintenance Manager

About the role

We are looking for an Assistant Maintenance Manager to support the maintenance function of our distillery. The role will help ensure equipment reliability, minimise downtime and drive continuous improvement in a fast‑growing spirits manufacturing environment.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and execute maintenance plans, including preventive maintenance schedules.
• Manage equipment breakdowns, lead root‑cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
• Control critical spares, maintenance materials and overall maintenance costs.
• Supervise the maintenance team, monitor performance and ensure safety and ISO compliance.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives across the maintenance function.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering.
• 4–5 years of maintenance experience, preferably in a manufacturing setting.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, preventive maintenance and equipment reliability.
• Proven ability to lead a team, plan work and coordinate resources.
