Assistant Trainer – Female

About the role

The Assistant Trainer – Female is a full‑time, on‑site position at Strong & Lean by Rosetta in Lazimpat. You will work alongside lead trainers to ensure group classes and personal training sessions run safely and effectively, supporting women of all fitness levels.

Key responsibilities

• Assist lead trainers during group classes and personal sessions, demonstrating exercises and correcting form.
• Guide participants through warm‑ups, workouts, and cool‑downs while emphasizing safety and proper technique.
• Monitor progress, provide encouragement, and offer modifications for varying fitness levels.
• Prepare training areas, maintain equipment, and ensure a clean, organized studio environment.
• Help with class scheduling, check‑ins, attendance tracking, and basic administrative tasks.
• Collect participant feedback to help refine programs and improve the studio experience.

Required profile

• Strong foundation in fitness and strength training with the ability to coach participants of different levels.
• Motivating, caring attitude with clear communication and active listening skills.
• Ability to manage class organization, time, and basic admin duties such as attendance tracking.
• Knowledge of health, wellness, and injury‑prevention principles; fitness certification is highly beneficial.
• Professional, reliable, and flexible to work varying hours as needed.
• Previous experience in a gym, fitness studio, or sports‑coaching environment in Kathmandu or similar settings is an advantage.
