Business Analyst

About the role

The Business Analyst will work at an officer level to support Nepal Digital Payments Company Limited in improving its processes, systems and services. This full‑time position is based in Kathmandu and focuses on the payments, banking and IT domains.

Key responsibilities

• Gather, validate and document business requirements from stakeholders.
• Identify issues, risks and benefits of existing and proposed solutions and outline business impacts.
• Conduct research and data analysis to recommend improvements to practices and processes.
• Create functional specifications and translate technical jargon into clear language for the team.
• Implement, test and support solutions, including user acceptance testing.
• Assist business transition, change management and monitor project deliverables.
• Evaluate processes, anticipate requirements and develop automation opportunities.
• Produce business reports that provide insights into key data points.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of experience in IT, banking, financial or payment industries.
• Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university.
• Strong analytical and critical‑thinking abilities.
• Excellent interpersonal communication and time‑management skills.
