Business Development Manager

About the role

We are looking for a dynamic, results‑oriented Business Development Manager to lead sales and expansion initiatives in the baby care and baby hygiene category. The successful candidate will drive growth through strategic partnerships, channel development, and strong relationship management.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute business development strategies to meet sales, revenue, and market‑share targets.
• Identify, evaluate, and capture new opportunities within the baby care and hygiene segment.
• Build, manage, and strengthen relationships with distributors, wholesalers, pharmacies, modern trade accounts, and key retail partners.
• Lead channel expansion projects to increase product availability and market penetration.
• Analyse market trends, competitor activity, consumer insights, and industry developments to uncover growth opportunities.
• Collaborate with marketing on promotional campaigns, product launches, and trade activities.
• Monitor sales performance and ensure achievement of monthly, quarterly, and annual targets.
• Conduct regular business reviews with distributors and key accounts to improve performance.
• Negotiate commercial agreements, pricing, and promotional plans.
• Prepare sales forecasts, budgets, and performance reports for senior management.
• Mentor and support the sales team to boost execution and customer engagement.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, brand standards, and regulatory requirements.

Required profile

• Proven track record in business development or sales within FMCG, preferably in baby care or hygiene.
• Strong leadership and relationship‑building capabilities.
• Extensive network of distributors, retailers, and trade partners.
• Analytical mindset with ability to interpret market data.
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
