Business Development Manager – Travel Industry

About the role

Trek & Trails is seeking an energetic Business Development Manager to expand its travel portfolio in Kathmandu. You will lead growth initiatives, forge new partnerships, and shape customized travel solutions for corporate and leisure clients.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategies to increase revenue and market share.
• Identify, approach, and build relationships with new clients, corporate partners and other business allies.
• Generate leads, nurture opportunities and convert them into sales.
• Design tailored travel packages and business proposals that meet client needs.
• Maintain strong, ongoing relationships with existing clients and partners.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities and emerging business opportunities.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of experience in business development, sales, tourism or the travel industry.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and networking abilities.
• Proven track record of generating leads and closing deals.
• Customer‑focused, proactive and target‑oriented mindset.
• Good understanding of the travel and tourism market.
